The major alarming factor about the performance yesterday and more recently, has been the lack of physical combativeness, fight and strength to win the right to play to their qualities. #lufc have been out muscled, outfought and far too light weight all over the pitch but particularly in midfield.

Second best all over the pitch. Out battled and out performed in midfield. Another, mistake and catastrophic outcome from the keeper. Seemed to have celebrated winning league a bit early. #lufc

Drink this in! #lufc imperious at the moment, absolute quality football, a joy to watch. These days are few and far between as a football fan. On and on!!!

Good leadership does involve protecting players and not criticising them in public. However, it also involves being able to act decisively, with compassion, when all evidence points to changes needed. #lufc

They did a job on #lufc Very physical and took every opportunity to smash creativity. Fair play to them if it’s anti football they choose.

Reflecting already! It’s understandable to begin the postmortem early after performances like that. A clear pattern is being really good at playing teams who play a bit and being toothless against those that don’t and just sit in. #lufc
