Trump’s $45 million birthday parade with its tanks and helicopters is an authoritarian ego trip. But the real show of force this weekend won't take place in D.C., it’ll happen in the streets as protesters gather nationwide to declare "No Kings in America!"

If that’s what they do to a United States Senator with a question, imagine what they can do to any American that dares to speak up. We will hold this administration accountable.

The “we don’t need PMs, just hire more engineers” mindset tech execs seem to have these days is both stupid and short-sighted. Engineers are not good at PM work and they don’t enjoy it, so they’re not motivated to bother learning - especially when “glue work” isn’t rewarded come review time. 😡

I'm thinking about how tonight was probably the first time Kilmar Abrego Garcia learned that millions of people care about him - the first time he learned that the United States Supreme Court ruled 9-0 to bring him home. I'm thinking what it must mean for him to know, right now, that he isn't alone.

You swore to defend the Constitution.

That Nazi thug president tramples democracy every day.

The concentration camps are here.

We need you to shout “Impeach!”
All together.

I hate to be that guy, but this is the five-alarm fire, and every elected Democrat and frankly, every Washington reporter should be ringing the bell. If it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone. Nobody with a voice should give this administration a moment’s peace about it.
NEW: A second filing today from the DOJ tells Judge Xinis that in their view, since Mr. Abrego is in Bukele's custody, she can't order them to do anything further to bring him back since that's not what "facilitate" means.

They also say the deal with Bukele is classified and/or a state secret.

This is NOT ok
"the state can just summarily imprison someone without filing charges or holding a trial" doesn't just overturn democracy it overturns 1000 years of common law, like throwing out the entire legal system entirely and saying all people in America are the state's property.
They continue to violate a court order to retrieve someone they illegally deported.

We’re now well beyond a constitutional crisis. If they’re allowed to do this, their secret police can sweep up anyone, for any reason, deport them & refuse to bring them back.

That would be the end of democracy.

The Department of Defense spokesman’s written reply to ESPN regarding why <Jackie Robinson> was disappeared from its website. This should be required reading for every adult American. Along with the question: which side of this do you fall on?

"virtually all modern internet services experience [DDoS attacks] regularly and must proactively defend themselves.... [But] some X ... servers...weren't properly secured behind the company's Cloudflare DDoS protection and were publicly visible.....As a result attackers could target them"
What Really Happened With the DDoS Attacks That Took Down X
Elon Musk said a “massive cyberattack” disrupted X on Monday and pointed to “IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area” as the source of the attack. Security experts say that's not how it works.

Why is the headline on all X outage stories about Musk blaming Ukraine for the DDoS? Why aren't media outlets putting the emphasis on the security lapse that allowed script kiddies (or whoever) to launch the attack against X as well as the lack of any evidence that the traffic came from Ukraine IPs?
