That is to say, they might find only a handful they really enjoy from their own particular interests. What I'm trying to say is that your inclusion in the list certainly wouldn't burden anyone, but I can understand the worry from it being a less curated route

even if someone is searching that list for a specific style, maybe far from your own, the surprise in finding your work and realizing they very much enjoyed it would make your inclusion on the list a net positive. Someone who doesn't enjoy it likely wont enjoy every other artist on the list either

I'd say for people who discovered you through the vgm list, someone who felt distaste towards what you do would be no different than if they felt distaste towards someone elses work who DID better fit the more common "vgm" expectation. Everyone, of course, has their own preferences-

I agree with Frums, you shouldn't express yourself any less because of those who follow you. Any new people who haven't experienced your music are welcome to embrace it or go somewhere else, theres no need to entertain anyone's hostility because it says much more about them than it ever would on you

Yea I enjoyed it a ton. Didn't get every eggle but got pretty close, like 90-something% lol. The whole soundtrack was really great too and suited it well
