An old piece; I liked the idea of a bored Buffy toying with her prey, trying to squeeze in a little excitement while remaining in control. Already redid it once, might do so again, if I have time. REALLY bothered by the position of the stake-hand.

I’ve been “remastering” my earlier volumes of Jackanapes because I eventually want to print/publish it, and I’m afraid people will be put off if the art ain’t good in the first few pages. So, on the right is the original, and on the left is the updated Princess Daphne at the start of the adventure.

Once had a famous cartoonist tell me I had a great “line,” & I agree— linework is the best part of my art. Prolly cuz I’ve doodled thru almost every boring class I sat thru in 21 years of education, & I only started using color in college.
