or you can get a FDSkey, it needs a famicom and the famicom adapter for FDS, so you don't use the disk drive and your disks can stay in their boxes.

to avoid most of the "I have to fix and mod this" you better get a Sharp Twin Famicom, it's not Nintendo and the startup is different from the real stuff, but they're easier to use and fix.
Famicom needs AV mod, and FDS often needs cleaning and replacing belt.
Or just try with emulator.

It's almost same version as the NES one, only the text is in Japanese, and the 2nd controller mic is supported.
This version is found on GBA famicom classics series, and on Japanese Wii virtual console.
The "real original" version is for Famicom Disk System, colors are different, music is different.
