China was the big disruptor in our region. Now the US is determined to take that title
Just as Australia is asserting that its national interests are different from those of both China and the United States, it seems the US may force us into a choice we don't want to make.

America is surely the poster-child for the notion that humans are incapable of learning from history, or true philosophical growth. It's 2025 and, for the most part, that nation is as ignorant, arrogant, bigoted, pretentious and neurotic as ever they were. There is no cure.
