I was understudying for the Woody Guthrie musical in tow, whole cast went and played/ picketed with the Kroger workers.

I had to walk away from those kinds of disruptors a long time ago. For a while we worked and attended at a church that was more loving, accepting, but those churches are like memory wire. They go back to their uptight judgmental ways with a snap. And now? Yes. The church is in its harlot stage.

In 2002 I wrote a song called curious with a verse that said : when politics and policies spawn rebellion and strife, why is this nativity stolen by the fascist midwife, time in and time out again.
My work quickly became less popular with the CCM crowd.
