Been thinking very hard about whether there’s any point in carrying on writing. I’ve got one book finished that nobody seems particularly bothered about and another one almost finished. I’ll see what happens with them and then decide. I don’t know, I did my best.

A mature tree removes ~25 kg of CO₂/year. This "new powder" is a sorbent with a capacity of 0.96 mmol/g, so that's 0.0096 kg of CO₂ per 0.5 lbs. You'd need 1305 lbs to equal a tree.
