My Mom’s cousin with Elvis!
My minor celebrity encounter because it happened before I was born. 😏
My Mom's cousin Linda (she lived in Spokane) with Elvis. He played a concert in Spokane on Aug. 30, 1957. Her Dad was a local businessman, musician and Shriner, so there must have been some connection there.

I missed “allegations of corruption” but I did send this to Mike Ellis tonight. Hope I hit all the high points.
Honourable Mike Ellis, MLA: As your constituent, I am writing to demand a public audit in to the allegations made against the UCP, AHS and the dealings with private health care providers, as well as Sam Mraiche and his companies, their contracts with the Government of Alberta, and gifts that members of the legislature of Alberta have received. The results of this audit should not go directly to the Premier, they should be done independently and released to the public. This UCP government has done nothing to earn the trust of Albertans. I also demand that any progress towards coal mining on the Eastern Slopes be stopped immediately. A company from Australia is not more important than the clean water and health of Albertans and the environmental damage inflicted on future generations.
