True Believer.
The best part about the ABC coverage tonight was watching them all trying desperately to keep a straight face. 😑

@palaceletters.bsky.social why is there not a whisper about Louise Milligans revelations about Dutton on last nights episode? Instead we hear more about the Welcome to Country dog whistle.

Dutton 24 years in parliament . Lord's prayer every day. Welcome to country . Not so much.

It's racism. That's all. #auspol

Peter Dutton won't lift a finger for families escaping bombs, hunger and displacement. But he says he’d welcome a man accused of war crimes with open arms, even if it means defying international law.

Throughout this campaign, there has been much commentary over the poor vetting of many Liberal Party candidates. But clearly, if they can't vet their candidate for PM properly, what hope have they got of vetting some nobody from suburbia who has put their hand up? #auspol

#laborcampainrally #votelabor #albo I just watched the dream team deliver a faultless series of speeches - Albo at his best- but the prize goes to Chis Minns for the ‘liberals could actually organise a piss up in a brewery’🙌🙌🙌🙌

The real outrage in all this is that both parties are treating as kryptonite a policy that would actually do something to help the housing affordability crisis. #abc730.

How long before this one is walked back too? The only person I've ever seen with a better backflip than Dutton was Nadia Comaneci. #auspol
Dutton is woefully incompetent. On every issue, his policies are clueless thought bubbles, lacking any planning or depth. They're worse than Morrison's policy announcements at pressers (that had zero actual legislative content or follow-up). Dutton's policies are dangerous. #auspol #AusVotes25

Peter Dutton is a multi millionaire - and we're meant to believe he's not going to help his son buy a home.

Dutton is either lying or cruel.

Neither are good #auspol #ausvotes25

Wow
...and then recover the cost of buying back the Port of Darwin from the consultants who recommended its sale, the political party that organised it, and the former govt minister who oversaw the sale (who is now working for the company that bought it for China). #auspol

Were the ALP smart, they would be cutting scenes from the US of angry veterans and retirees at town hall meetings complaining about cuts and link it with Michaela Cash saying "they’ll get the exact same attitude under a Peter Dutton government”

The Libs promise to cut 44 thousand jobs in the public service. Why do no journalists ask them about the cost of consulting firms that will replace them- as before???

For once I agree with Gwyneth Paltrow:

Gwyneth Paltrow’s in on the act too. Curfew at hers? 9pm sharp. Dinner starts at 6.30pm and if you miss the memo, just cast your eye to her soft furnishings. She has a cushion embroidered with “Please leave by 9.” No ambiguity. No guilt.

Funny to think of the PM going to visit the GG to announce the elections. Love to be a fly on the wall when these two mates meet up. ❤️

Australians have always turned to the ALP in times of conflict. Fisher and Billy Hughes in WW1. Curtin in WW2.

We are about to be embroiled in a viscous trade war with our former ally, the USA.

I believe Australians will again turn to Labor again this election.
