Fast forward to last night: we only needed to flip 2 seats to take over control of the council. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙞𝙩. ALL THREE of our endorsed Council candidates PLUS our endorsed County Controller won their races in Luzerne. 🧵3/4

Fast forward to last night: we only needed to flip 2 seats to take over control of the council. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙞𝙩. ALL THREE of our endorsed Council candidates PLUS our endorsed County Controller won their races in Luzerne. 🧵3/4
As recently as 2023, the County Council was completely dominated by Republicans (there were 10 Republicans and just a single Democrat). That year, JanePAC went all in, partnering with Luzerne United and picking up four seats. 🧵2/4
