In addition to making the world safe for crafting disasters and raging against authoritarianism, I'm also hoping to find new work as a Director of Learning and Content or Learning Strategist.

So I made a portfolio reel. Feel free to share this with contacts who hire Janes.
Learning. Everywhere. All the time.

The study, entitled “Why are they like that?”, seeks to investigate the causes of autism as conjectured by the highly opinionated loved ones and colleagues of autistic people, whose hot takes are infinitely more valuable than anything autistic people have to say.
First autism study to take place without any autistic people called a “bloody relief” by researchers
A groundbreaking new autism study has reportedly taken place without any autistic people involved at all - to the relief of its researchers. The study, entitled "Why are they like that?", seeks to…

Some of you folks, bless your hearts, are being way too lenient on Mr. Schumer. I get that some of you don't like attacking Democrats. I sympathize. I don't like doing it, either. But this is twice this year that Mr. Schumer has dropped the ball in a position of critical importance. No excuses.

Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

Mail-in voting is highly secure AND Constitutional.

Also, honestly, once you've experienced how it improves the voting experience you'll never want anything else.
Since 2020, I have been fighting for mail-in voting and the GOP has been fighting against it. A critical court case is now going before the U.S. Supreme Court. I can assure you that I will be there fighting hard to ensure every lawful ballot counts.

I think Joyce Carol Oates has managed to be impossible to milkshake duck.

Not because she hasn't said problematic things - she has.

But she has said them in service to no higher goals. She's not trying to take over the government, or start a cult or a movement

Great @muellershewrote.com explainer of what's next for the shutdown.

TL/DR YOU CAN STILL SAVE THE ACA. Flood Senate inboxes!

Schumer: Whip your caucus.
Yes votes (D or R): Flip your vote.
No votes: Don't shorten waiting periods. Use procedure to delay.

WE are more powerful than their donors!

Jean Shaheen is campaigning to fill the upcoming Susan Collins "Disappointed But Still Gullible" opening.

Can somebody tell her that it's 2025 and we don't do that anymore?

For those watching the Seattle mayoral election, which could be headed for a hand recount: In 2015, when the campaign for City Council District 1 was subject to a recount, the results didn't change by a single vote.

in the fast paced world of retention editing, i made a video about a book and then went to the woods to talk about the book, and included slow shots of nature.

it's not going to crush the algorithm, but it might make you feel something?

Some decry this view as "socialism."

Regular reminder that Axios stories saying Dems are about to cave are likely sourced from GOP staffers trying to make it happen.
Doesn't mean it definitely won't happen. But it's like those NYT stories that Harvard is considering caving (they haven't). The anonymous source was trying to manifest it.
