As SuStaIn combines the methodologies of clustering and disease progression modeling, we were able to identify two distinct disease progression patterns of psychosis, with hippocampal-cortical dysconnectivity leading the disease progression in one subtype.

In this paper, we applied the machine-learning algorithm SuStaIn to a multiscale model of psychosis spanning the brain, cognition, symptoms and functioning.
