Earlier this week, I attended the @vfsecon.bsky.social conference in Cologne, where I had the chance to present my research in a great session on pensions. A personal highlight was the Thünen Lecture by Ulrike Malmendier, who gave a fascinating talk on how personal experiences shape decisions.

Starter packs are really cool but also come with the risk of reinforcing existing biases on #econsky. They increase visibility for those in a network and who may already be overrepresented in the profession. Sooo, if you host a starter pack: maybe go through your list and check whether it’s biased 🫶
