About to be heading to Bestansur (Iraqi Kurdistan) to continue work on animal bones from exciting Neolithic/Chal/EBA layers at Gird-i Begum. The faunal data, including isotopes, already point to flexible 🐑🐐 herding + land use strategies. Thrilled to be back in the field with the FU Berlin team.
