Extremely need to quell the part of me that's focused on applying meaning and value to everything. It crushes so many simple joys and leaves my thoughts blank in the bad way.
"What's the point of drawing another animal person?"
"They're cute, who cares, & you're a doodoo head!"

The problem is, of course, that I just draw whatever however. If the goal is game assets, I need to start drawing game assets. If the goal is comics, draw comics. You get better at the things you do, b/c you realize and solve problems specific to them.

And sketching/doodling is still important too
