You're a bit off on that actually. One, that brief was written by someone in her office & the case became moot as that particular prisoner was released on parole. AGs don't WRITE laws, they help uphold them. Now, what she did do After that case was get the rules & law changed.

If you'd read the article, or lived through all the shit from 2k forward AND were paying attention, you'd know the free file program began as a bipartisan deal that forced tax filing companies like H&R Block to develop the software that became the free file program.
Republicans then did This:

I wish that people who use that phrase would say something like, "As the late, great Flo Kennedy said, 'don't agonized, organize!' and that's what we are going to do!"
Florynce Kennedy was a lawyer who was one of the most dazzling and outspoken activists of the 20th century. In her trademark cowboy hat and pink sunglasses, she was both a gadfly and a catalyst for change. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1916, Kennedy learned from her parents that she had the right to stand up for herself. After high school, “Flo” opened a hat shop with her sisters. Within a few years she helped organize her first protest, boycotting a Coca-Cola bottler that refused to hire black drivers. Initially turned down by Columbia Law School, she was admitted after threatening to sue. She said, “I find that the higher you aim, the better you shoot.” Kennedy’s causes included women’s rights and civil rights, gay rights, abortion rights and media discrimination against women and people of color. Her motto was “Don’t agonize; organize,” and she did that. She helped to start the National Organization for Women, and then founded the Feminist Party and the Media Workshop to fight racial stereotyping. Florynce Kennedy died in New York in 2000. People magazine called her “the biggest, loudest and, indisputably, the rudest mouth on the battleground” of activist causes. In fact, New York Mayor David N. Dinkins said of her, “If you found a cause for the downtrodden or somebody being abused someplace, by God, Flo Kennedy would be there.”

We talked about the fact that you don't qualify for SNAP until your gross income is at or below 130% of the poverty guideline. What does that mean?

Here's my boxes of politicians, public figures etc. And, the box of figs of politicians & public figures who often speak on politics that I originally liked but, now I'm permanently pissed at. 🤣😂

I need to go through these boxes, move some of the little boxes around, but, each box holds 24 little minifig boxes. Several have more than one figures in there. 5of the 6 boxes are completely full. So, there's a minimum 120 figs, the GRRR! box only has about 10 in there so far.. There Would be more except, I stopped making minifigs of white people politicians for a while during the election cuz, they kept pissing me off. Lol
