Listening to @jasondsouza.bsky.social talk about a lack of fibre on Vancouver Island and I can’t help but wonder *why* when the industry leaves behind these mountains of fibre to become carbon spills (they get burned). I asked Mosaic reps, they said until it was mandated, it wasn’t cost effective 🤷♀️

I thought this was a joke, or the speaker was warning against an eventual outcome. But, no, betting culture continues to try to seep and creep across every possible public or private space.
