To be honest Paul, Palace were doomed from the minute they ignored the 1st March deadline, to set up a blind trust. It’s there front and centre in the judgment. As the below Sky report shows, UEFA were already on the case before #NFFC wrote and not the other way around.

I’m not sure this actually helps the Government’s assertion that it is (a) working effectively; and (b) not in Mr Lowry’s pocket.

CAS rejected the Drogs arguments out of hand, saying they had ample notice of the deadline for putting the club in a blind trust, which #NFFC and other clubs met. Whether Palace will (and indeed should) be given the time to sell Textor’s shares is now the question.
