There are so many historical events happening so fast that if Billy Joel did another rewrite of We Didn't Start The Fire he would never get to stop singing. Someone would be frantically shoving pages of new lyrics in front of him in real time.

Does anyone else have a nickname for Alexa/Siri that you use to avoid activating it? If so, what is it? I'm looking for something better than "Robot Lady."

I have come up with a new true crime mystery sub-genre where a Roomba vacuum is found dead and alone in a closed bathroom but it turns out that it went in there, nudged the door closed behind itself, and then ran around in tight circles until its batteries died the end.

#1 downside of working at home is that there’s nobody around to laugh when I do stuff like this.

I went to change my profile pic on my doctor's office website and accidentally clicked on the wrong file, resulting in this. I laughed for a solid minute, which is supposedly the best medicine so I guess we're all right. Also, I'm leaving it.

We have simultaneous thunderstorms, extreme heat warnings, and flash flood warnings where I live right now. I guess I live in a rainforest? I thought there would be more cool frogs.

Man, Gamepass is rockin' right now. Clair Obscur, Blue Prince, Doom, Monster Train 2, Oblivion. Lot of good stuff on there.

...Then again Elden Ring Nightreign comes out in less than 4 days so never mind.

So this is kind of cool. Just received my copies of the Chinese and Russian translations of my first book Getting Gamers:The Psychology of Video Games! Two more foreign language translations are also in the works. Can’t read a word of these myself, but it’s neat!

PSA for those talking about the swashbuckler subclass in D&D (and also the new Baldur's Gate 3 patch): "Rakish" as in "Rakish audacity" is pronounced like the garden tool, not the torture instrument. Because it comes from the word "rake," as in an immoral or dishonorable person.
