I've recently seen it promote thumbnails of about-to-expire stories right on the main feed, INCLUDING GREEN CIRCLE ones. Last time I open the app on a crowded train!!!

Yep. My main problem is they didn't know what to do with the middle of the film and ended up just sidelining the bike, the thing we came to see doing cool stuff!

Before that, watched Surf Ninjas (1993), which was colourful family guff with gentle surrealness and Leslie Nielsen being trampled by an elephant, not really fitting the trash night brief tbh. Also Steel Frontier (1995), a good enough Mad Max/western but I've seen too many similar films recently.

I just bought the blu-ray of that too! Genuinely can't remember if I've seen it or not, I get so mixed up with these big chest films.

Now onto The Caller (1987), a thriller horror with Malcolm McDowell, this one is a Tivo recording so it'll have the pixel-perfect quality of a ZX Spectrum

Holy shit I was so busy bashing that out I didn't even notice the following gold just above it: "In August 2011, Daniels was struck by a flying pizza, thrown by the puppet Sooty."

Anyway, there's a making-of doc on the disc, which opens with someone saying "the target audience is a 17 year old boy", cutting to a shot of a woman's top being ripped off
