Agree with all of that. In certain parts of the country autonomous vehicles could / would have a dramatic effect. But in places like Denver, NYC, Philadelphia, DC, etc…the laws of physics won’t allow these vehicles to be four season options.

Alzheimer’s killed 115k Americans in 2024. Covid killed 50k. My point is, there’s a disproportionate amount of money being spent on autonomous vehicles when there’s only a portion of America where these vehicles can operate year round.

Doesn’t seem like the best use of capital, to solve a problem that isn’t really a problem? Saving 1.3 lives per 100 million miles driven?
