I think what’s most funny to me, is that its card text changed dramatically at least 4 times when it was printed, and it’s still not particularly accurate to its current errata text, which is very clear finally.

Byrne takes a crack at the Watchman-esque 'Mature Readers' prestige format that was so popular at the time. In this case reinterpreting Jack Kirby's OMAC for the modern times. I admit I've only flipped through issue 1, it's very Byrnes looking.
