At the Conduit in London to support the Lift the Ban campaign. We ban asylum seekers from working, forcing them on benefits, which we then complain about. Bit silly, let them work. Take away this right wing talking point.

Tax breaks have worked well for O’Leary and Ryanair - you can see why he would recommend them for the whole economy - but someone has to pay for them. The lack of VAT and fuel duty gifts nearly £20B a year from other tax payers to Britain’s airline industry.

Well we should be tucked up in our beds in France tonight but due to our departure being put back 12 hours because of the storms we have only made it to Amsterdam, hopefully tomorrow mornings flight will be on time.

Expect the right wing media to make a fuss, but why should a small profession earning on average £300k a year, pay less tax National Insurance than the rest of us? There’s no good reason - it’s just another example of how our tax code was written by people with money for people with money.

Factory farms for salmon are filthy environments that require a constant flow of clean water and constant treatment with toxic chemicals. These places are so bad that some 30 per cent of all farmed salmon simply die from their conditions, they don’t become food for customers.

Right now green energy has just overtaken coal as the world’s biggest provider of power - that’s something Trump and his fossil fuel funders will hate to hear - maybe that’s why they’re preventing people talking about it. Won’t change the reality though.
