Look at the wording of this denial. It is careful. It is lawyerly. Ghislaine Maxwell never talks about Donald Trump, she talks about "the president." Donald Trump was not the president when these alleged events happened. So her remarks may be technically true, but intentionally misleading.

Published November 1984. Only novel I remember ever seeing advertised on MTV. I talked the manager at the local B. Dalton’s into loaning me a “review copy” to write about in my high school newspaper just so I could read it. (I was a junior, and the $18.95 hardcover price was an unthinkable fortune.)
