Jeeeeesus Christ - my train terminated half-way through the planned journey and by the time the tube had got to the right London station, I’d missed like 3 of the trains I wanted to catch…is this also because of the storms, or am I just that unlucky 🤪

Chemistry degrees have some of the highest values of any degree and are vital if we want to build a competitive high-tech nation. But they are expensive, and so if universities want to save money quickly they will just ignore national priorities and close them.

I’m fairly sure my friend from the US decided recently that - like the UK things I’m patriotic about are meal deals and our plugs - the thing she’s patriotic about is the breakfast burrito
