Santa Claus actually lives on the border with Russia.

If you don’t protect Eastern flank of NATO, no presents for you, because Santa will be tortured and killed.

Jeeeeesus Christ - my train terminated half-way through the planned journey and by the time the tube had got to the right London station, I’d missed like 3 of the trains I wanted to catch…is this also because of the storms, or am I just that unlucky 🤪

I’ve never sent an email complaining about another student in a language course before, but there’s a first time for everything LMAO

1000 days of avoidable tragedy. 1000 days of lost time. 1000 days of sacrifice and heroism of Ukraine's best and bravest. 1000 days of defiance against 1000 days of terror. 1000 days too many. And if we stick with our current failed strategy, the next 1000 days might be worse.

We can strike into russia, but only into the Kursk region, only on Wednesday, after the rain, and when pigs fly. When will this nonsense end?

Yes, I’m sure this was completely an accident…

“We’ve closed all the arts and humanities departments, but those depts are low cost and actually run operational surplus on tuition fee income alone. We now have to close other more expensive depts. The ones cross-subsidized by the arts, humanities and social science depts we’ve now closed”
Chemistry degrees have some of the highest values of any degree and are vital if we want to build a competitive high-tech nation. But they are expensive, and so if universities want to save money quickly they will just ignore national priorities and close them.

No matter how many times Putin and his allies restate their maximalist goals, Scholz and the Scholz-a-likes will keep addressing their demands to an imaginary Russia that does not have maximalist goals. It's exasperating.

I’m fairly sure my friend from the US decided recently that - like the UK things I’m patriotic about are meal deals and our plugs - the thing she’s patriotic about is the breakfast burrito
The breakfast burrito is one of the most important developments in food in human history. Constructed correctly, it has everything you need to do back-breaking labor for ten hours.

📣 DOCTOR WHO PEOPLE 📣

Some of us are thinking of doing a watchalong of The Day of the Doctor here on Bluesky for the anniversary on 23 November (this Saturday), at 6pm GMT. Who's in?

#DoctorWho #WhoSky ❤️❤️➕🦋
Okay, so ... a week from now is 23 November, i.e. Doctor Who's birthday

Just as we did for that first time in lockdown, would anyone be interested in a Day of the Doctor watchalong, both to mark the anniversary and celebrate our growing presence on Bluesky?

okay but I find the Lithuania-Taiwan friendship just really lovely 🥺 does Taiwan count as braliukas yet?? or is that still to come

if the UK could leave Europe because of Brexit, Taiwan can join the Baltics because of friendship 😤
Taiwan’s foreign minister Lin Chia-lung is leading a delegation to Lithuania that includes executives from a range of companies. Representatives from more than 10 drone companies are also making the trip. www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-as...

The visit will very likely draw a rebuke from China. Read more at straitstimes.com.

Aš čia sukūriau Starter Pack (ir viliuosi, kad jums patiktų žodžių žaismas 😄)

Tokios gilios logikos nėra - pridėjau visus, kurie arba lietuviškai šneka arba jos kultūra susidomėję 😄
