I don't need a poppy, Flag or 'royal' for me to respect those that gave everything in past wars.
We are the only European country that obsessively looks back to past wars and we were not occupied.
Can we please look to the future a bit more.

For as many years as anyone been counting two or more inmates been mistakenly released from British prisons most weeks. Record does not make it acceptable. System needs to be fixed. It does leave me asking why BBC now gripped by end-of-civilisation hysteria heard on Radio 4 Today programme.

Surely the way to deal with people like Matt Goodwin is to declare them not British. And when they say that actually they were born here just tell them that sorry it takes more than a piece of paper.

🙏 Big big thank you to everyone who bought a copy of my book about WW2 London Blitz ambulance driver and diarist June Spencer. This morning I sent all the revenue from sales in Sept and Oct to medical charities working in Gaza and Ukraine

Translated from the Express: "Our remaining readers must be given special treatment in the budget, while all non-OAP welfare should be cut."
This is my feeling too.
I'll never be able to vote for a party that doesn't want the UK in NATO and I'm not alone. By a long way.

The Greens have work to do.

I love what I'm hearing but this is a non negotiable for me and millions like me.

All welcome, meeting in the Cherry Tree around 1200.
Margaret Thatcher is *not* 100 today.
Dead people cannot be congratulated on their birthday.

Does that make me a bad person?
If you are happy with these British citizens displaying their flag ( its not the wrong way round- hold on there, keyboard pedants-its meant to be viewed from outside) then I agree with you.
If you like flags normally but can't be doing with this, then you a bigot or racist.
I voted for Lucy Powell in the end. Starmer needs to feel less rather than more comfortable.
What's going wrong with Lewis Goodall?

Badenoch’s speech is nothing but handouts for people who have plenty.

They haven’t reflected on defeat at all.

Same old Tories.

They told the public that “wasteful bureaucrats” were the problem, that “efficiency” was the cure, and that Farage-style common sense would restore pride and solvency. They sold a dream of managerial populism, ruthless, dynamic, patriotic, and now face the dull reality.. Read More 👇

I don't think Robert Jenrick realises that the people clapping along to him when he talks about Handsworth would clap along if he said the same about Stamford Hill. I'd hope that would give him pause for thought.

Reform council leader: Whatever they charge, it will be a hundred times to the benefit of the authority.

Liberal England replies: That gurgling sound you can hear is public money disappearing down the drain.

It helps to be able to spell the country you say only you are competent enough to run.
It doesn't matter what Mel Stride says

I canvassed the streets of Ramsgate and Broadstairs for a year before the election in order to say this with confidence.
