Got go ahead of energize our solar system this morning. Batteries charging and already at 96% off grid. House and EV are powered now by sunshine. 🥳☀️⚡️
In the event of power outage, house self isolates and creates a nano grid and then continues generating ensuring whole house back up indefinitely!

16KwH solar panel system plus two batteries for whole house backup in. Waiting for the utility company to approve the connection and install a bi directional meter. So excited. Clean, green, free power that’s good for my pocket and the planet. Win, win. ☀️⚡️💚

Planted toad lilies, white gaura, yellow lantana, Siberian irises, bee balm, sea hollies, milkweed, cardinal flowers. Saw my first hummingbird feasting on the yellow kniphofia this morning. Plants and pollinators = happy.
