So, watching Bluey with the smalls and saw Bandit had a picture of the Sulawesi cave art on the wall - great to see this cross over of archaeology and the public, so much better than some other recent stunts

Some time ago I released an earlier version of this hominin timeline. I've had a number of helpful suggestions and conversations with colleagues since (see acknowledgements). It may not be quite right still, but folks had been asking for the update so thought I'd share here again
