HEY HEY HEY AT LEAST ITS NOT TYLENOL

Seriously tho, Chemical Weapons Convention prohibits the US Military using "Riot Control Agents" like tear gas in combat, but law enforcement is explicitly exempted.
Frankly the term "tear gas" is a euphemism that SEVERELY understates the damage these chemical weapons cause. And if you read the catalogues advertising chemical weapons to cops, they brag about how much pain, suffering, and panic they produce.

BAN ALL CHEMICAL WEAPONS.

My thoughts on warrior ethos were said best in fiction:

"My men are not warriors, they're soldiers, Messer Bellamy—and they're about to demonstrate the difference."

--Raj Whitehall, "The Hammer", by SM Stirling and David Drake

Yes, this book is pulp & problematic, but I stand by this quote
And after 40 minutes of cringe-Thunderous applause from the generals!

Just kidding. Total silence. 👀 🦗 🦗

This is all so stupid.

In aggregate, more nukes = greater risk of large cities, nations, even the world being smashed to bits and lots and lots of people dying within minutes.

BUT It's pretty clear that for nations, having nukes is way more valuable than using them.

Even NK realized that.

I don't know if anyone has suggested naming the new State Office Project after Melissa Hortman, but I think it might be a damned fine way to honor her memory.

Over 25,000 people showed up at the MN State Capitol yesterday. Plus the thousands who rallied, marched, and protested elsewhere in the state. Despite being told to stay home. Despite being afraid and grieving.

Rather, *because* we were afraid and grieving, we came together and showed the fuck up.
