In a statement, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt accused the Democrats of "selectively" leaking emails to "the liberal media" to create a "fake narrative to smear President Trump." She said the unnamed victim, whose name is redacted from one of the emails, is the late Virginia Giuffre, who had previously denied that Trump was involved in Epstein's crimes.

The quackery is too damn high
Looking for a holistic dentist to avoid a root canal. Any recommendations? I've read ozone therapy is a part of trying to avoid it? I called Dr. i but they seem to be more airway focused and don't use ozone. Appreciate any help, thank you

It's easy to note the absolutely corrupt nature of this; but to me this is the sort of raging against the dying of the light I'd expect from a very old and sick man
Presidential pardons apply only to federal crimes, and none of the Trump allies was charged in a federal case. But the move underscores Trump's efforts to continue to rewrite the history of the 2020 election he lost to Democrat Joe Biden.

The doctor was competent-looking and respectable. Mrs. Arnold felt vaguely comforted by his appearance, and her agitation lessened a little. She knew that he noticed her hand shaking when she leaned forward for him to light her cigarette, and she smiled apologetically, but he looked back at her seriously. "You seem to be upset." he said gravely. I'm very much upset," Mrs. Arnold said. She tried to talk slowly and intelligently. "That's one reason I came to you instead of going to Doctor Murphy our regular doctor, that is." The doctor frowned slightly. "My husband," Mrs. Anold went on. "I don't want him to know that I'm worried, and Doctor Murphy would probably feel it was necessary to tell him." The doctor nodded, not committing himself, Mrs. Arnold noted. "What seems to be the trouble? Mrs. Arnold took a deep breath. "Doctor," she said, "how do people tell if they're going crazy?" The doctor looked up. "Isn't that silly." Mrs. Arnold said. "I hadn't meant to say it like that. It's hard enough to explain anyway, without making it so dramatic. "Insanity is more complicated than you think," the doctor said. Mrs. Arnold sat back and took her gloves out from under her pocketbook and put them carefully on top. "Everyone else seems to understand," she said, "and I don't. Look." She leaned forward and gestured with one hand while she spoke. "I don't understand the way people live. When I was a a little little girl I I used used to to live in in a a world world where a lot of other people lived too and they all lived together and things went along like that with no fuss." She looked at the doctor. He was frowning again, and Mrs. Arnold went on, her voice rising slightly. "Look. Yesterday morning my husband stopped on his way to his office to a paper buys the office to buy a paper. He always buys the Times and he always buys it fro e dealer, and yesterday the dealer didn't have a Times for my husband and last night when he came home for dinner he said the fish was burned and the dessert was too sweet and he sat around all evening talking to himself "He could have tried to get it at another dealer," the docto Very often dealers downtown have papers later than local dealers. "He said the man had no right not to save him a Times," she said hysterically, fumbling in her pocket for a handkerchief. "and he started talking about social planning on the local level and surtax net income and geopolitical concepts and deflationary inflation. inflation." Mrs. Arnol wail. "He really said deflationary inflation."

I'm reminded of the Reagan admin's flippant attitude toward the rape and murder of the nuns in El Salvador, even suggesting it was their own fault.
On Dec. 2, 1980, three nuns (Ita Ford, Maura Clarke, and Dorothy Kazel) and one lay worker (Jean Donovan) were abducted, raped, and murdered upon their return from Comalapa International Airport in El Salvador by members of the U.S. backed National Guard. President Ronald Reagan's administration blamed the nuns for their own murder. Foreign-policy advisor Jeane Kirkpatrick told a reporter, "The nuns were not just nuns. The nuns were also political activists" and Secretary of State Alexander Haig said, "perhaps they ran a roadblock.

Juan, 32, N.J., Latino, independent, customer service I feel like they have a lack of identity and a lack of leadership. I feel like the Republican Party does have a better icon, in Donald Trump, with the ideology and the idealism behind him. [Start highlight] You know what he stands for. [End highlight] With the Democratic Party's, they don't have that leader. I feel like the last person to really have that role was like Obama. Currently, right now, aside from A.O.C. and Bernie, I really don't see anybody even who has a major exposure or brand behind the Democratic Party. Their vision of the future seems very negative to a lot of people. And I like them, I personally like them. I'm independent. I actually think they have a lot of great points. But they're negatively viewed. The party has a lack of leadership.

Trump's healthcare team is basically like mixing 3 jigsaw puzzles together and trying to make a single coherent image. Every now and again the pieces line up, but it's never going to fully mesh. Makary is still a bit of a ding dong, but at least he's right on this one.
In December 2020, Makary defied established scientific knowledge and said that vaccination of 20% of the population would be enough to create "herd immunity." In a February 2021 Wall Street Journal piece, he predicted that covid would virtually disappear by April because so many people would have become immune through infection or vaccination. The U.S. death toll from covid stood at 560,000 that April, with an additional 650,000 deaths to come. In June 2021, he said he had been unable to find evidence of a single covid death of a previously healthy child. By then there were many reports of such deaths, although children were much less likely than older people to suffer severe disease. In February 2023, Makary testified in Congress that the lab-leak theory of covid's origin was a "no brainer," a surprisingly unequivocal statement for a scientist discussing a scientifically unresolved issue. Some public health officials felt Makary gratuitously attacked authorities working in difficult circumstances. "He went from being a pretty reasonable person to saying a lot of things that were over the top and unnecessary," said Ashish Jha, dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, who was the White House covid-19 response coordinator under President Joe Biden.
