I feel like this is inherently predatory because you’re basically approaching people who aren’t in a sound state of mind being like “we’ll give you what you want most in the world for the price of a Spotify subscription”

Tbh I think that more democrats wanted to end the shutdown and they deliberately orchestrated it so that just enough people voted yes to break the fillabuster and they chose 8 senators who aren’t up for reelection this cycle so that they can maximize the likelihood of people forgetting

The thing is they weren’t doing anything that Steam wasn’t. Even disruptive businesses centers itself around solving a common issue with the industry. Not to mention that Steam has enough brand recognition that simply tying the Amazon brand to a competitor isn’t going to do much
