In the last days it was really cold here and we had the first snow. This image I took after I had already packed my stuff away. Light was almost gone, yet the snow on the branches shined so bright. I liked the almost monochrome look.

This hillslope was completely felled some years ago. Meanwhile a huge amount of small birches have conquered it. Remarkable how bright the first young leaves shine now.

A whole hill filled with young birch trees. You mainly see the thin trunks, but some are large enough to have leaves. The leaves are shining in bright green and yellow in autumn - making a very nice speckled pattern.

My "super moon" shot from last week. For sure there are more spectacular once it there, but I still liked the mood. And actually was surprised - I was photographing trees in the setting sun direction, when I spotted the moon 😉

To me it seems the German landscape photographer "scene" is less connected compared to, e.g., England or Scotland (?). Thus, I collected a corresponding starter pack. Surely many are missing - I am happy about suggestions! 👍🏻

Looks like a scene from the Canadian Rockies - yet it's "just" from a walk here in Lindau 😉 Taken with a long lens, to make the mountains prominent in the frame (actually being >20km away). First snow and autumn trees help along.
