The current public pleas to Israel & private diplomacy haven't worked so far though. There's also a moral imperative to do the right thing. I do think sanctions would have more impact on the current situation in the short term though.

If it's an inalienable right why's it being used as a bargaining chip? It's shocking that this govt isn't imposing sanctions on a country that's starving 2 million people to death.

Completely agree with this. @sarahwoodberrydown.bsky.social This LTN is desperately needed but it doesn't prevent rat running from Kingsland Rd to New North Road (aside from market day) and I can't understand why? Could be easily fixed.

The only way I see it happening is if the Lib Dems end up as the only viable coalition partner and push for another referendum (which I think they'd win this time)

I think the ideal is somewhere between the two. Highly visible but not doing constant learning walks and obs and leaving experienced teachers to get on with it.
