Isn't the US DOJ suing Edison? Y'know, Edison, the utility whose outdated transmission and distribution lines caused the fires? Y'know, Edison, the utility that you haven't blatantly called out for causing the fires in the first place? Y'know, Edison, the company that pays off your CPUC lackeys?

Utility Tax was such a shitty bill that legislators had to author AB 1999 just to try and combat it. Like many other times in the California Legislature, the utilities got their way.
