I'm SO thrilled that the Byron school referendum passed last night. From only getting 42% of the vote last year, to getting over 53% this year, it's proof that we can do big things when we keep talking to our neighbors and never give up.

We absolutely need to crack down on SNAP fraud. But we can do that without cracking down on hungry children.
Let’s make SNAP cards more secure, strengthen the vetting rules for vendors, and finally appoint an Inspector General at USDA to go after SNAP fraud.

If I were the chairman of the House Nutrition Subcommittee, I simply wouldn’t lead an effort to take food away from 1,000,000 children.
