I think it’s super cool and yeah I agree with the Dino thing. Very middle space-y. I had an obsession with those Dino-verse books where the kids got turned into dinosaurs and transported back to the late Cretaceous in junior high and had to survive long enough to escape.

Maybe Griffin or Dinosaur? I picture your tfs as more cute fuzzy critters but I can see dinosaurs the more I think about it.

Generally I wanted the specific wishes to be left up to interpretation but the general idea that he was hoping for something else and got a diaper and then tried to undo that and got younger and then tried to undo that and ended up a baby brained pants wetter.

Oh absolutely wishes were the intent. This is loosely based on the short story “The Monkeys Paw” your wishes are granted but not exactly as you imagined or intended them
