In 2024, Fenway Park was the most expensive stadium to attend a baseball game. The ballpark made $574 million. But concessions workers there make less than $20/hour. That’s not right – @aramark.bsky.social /Fenway needs to up their game!

America’s most beloved ballpark is a special place for fans & the workers who have worked there for more than half of their lives. @fenwaypark.bsky.social workers are fighting for a fair contract with higher wages and an end to automation!

Fenway Park workers work very hard and give up summer vacations with their families so they can take care of baseball fans. These essential workers shouldn’t be paid peanuts!

For decades in Boston, BMRB was a trusted source of municipal finance & policy expertise. Today they behave as a political action committee to lower corporate taxes.

I declined the annual invite to present advanced insights on Boston’s budget at a $325/person lunch to fundraise for this cause.
Have no idea what @mayorwu.boston.gov is thinking, but — speaking as a longtime supporter of then-Councilor and now Mayor Wu — it was my impression that BMRB, NAIOP and the Chamber unfairly pulled the rug out from under Wu in Dec 24, after agreeing to a compromise. The rationale was paper thin IMO.

Stripping collective bargaining and union rights from workers across the federal government is the very definition of union busting — and a blatant attempt to silence us.

We will fight this outrageous attack on our members with every fiber of our collective being.
