After my dad died of COVID, some of the people who argued about that fact (or vaccines or masking) ended up dying of it themselves. I feel like I’m about to re-live that particular scenario, but with starvation and homelessness as well as health stuff.

As a person who took a class on the early 20th Century, I feel like there are more than a few parallels. Everything old is new again: Robber barons, ethics scandals, Sacco & Vanzetti…next up Dust Bowl and Prohibition!
