going to bump this one last time, & this ismy last request for help for a little bit. A combination of guilt & unsustainability means I either need to start providing something when I ask or find something more stable. Still no job, still no unemployment, and medical costs spiked without insurance.
Hey, so you may have heard me talk about this but two weeks ago I lost my job suddenly and unexpectedly. It caught me completely unprepared. I have not heard back on any applications positively, nor from Unemployment sevices. If there's any support you can lend, medical expenses made things tight:

Because the pigeon had the cruel fate of being possibly the only species humanity domesticated en mass that we decided were no longer useful and abandoned and despite this they have flourished and spread into basically every major human city and settlement on the planet. That's goddamn incredible.

The explosion of AI imagery online has had an odd side effect for me: it's made me so much happier to see amateur art.
I love seeing art from people at various stages of experience, even when things are rough and folks are just starting out.
It makes me happy, now, in a way that it never used to.
