You see more trans women in online spaces specifically because we have been forced out of every other venue.

We have to build our own networks online where the tools to build a platform are slightly more accessible than the ones held by traditional media gatekeepers.

Just to be clear, nudist nation is praise, not shade

This is what anti-transgender folks actually mean when they talk about “destransition.”

Transgender people unable or unwilling to weather the social costs of being out.

There’s admittedly a subsection of folks who seem to live in the “curious: you claim to hate fascism, yet you have a fascist government,” meme.

There is no evidentiary support for any of these harms. None. They are pure supposition.

The harms to trans youth forced to mature through a gender dysphoric puberty are demonstrable and very real.

We need to stop giving air to hypothetical harms, and demand proof of a problem.

Given the right’s beliefs about trans people, that we are deviant, dangerous and dishonest, this means a population of visually undetectable and (not actually) sterile trans people wreaking havoc on social norms, l placing cisgender women at risk and stripping resources from fertile couples.

Their justification for this is cloaked in a theoretical harm to the child which is somehow acceptable for a cisgender child facing less severe consequences, and based in the idea of a hypothetical harm to society:

The anti-trans crowd has no issue with the first:

saving a cisgender kid from anxiety and social disadvantage.

They have major issues with the second:

saving a transgender kid from anxiety, depression, ridicule, discrimination and physical attack.

Trans kids are prescribed puberty blockers for similar but really more impactful reasons:

to avoid mental stress by avoiding changing into an adult form they don’t identify with,

to permit time to ensure the correct development path, so they can grow into it naturally and safely undetectably.

Cisgender kids are prescribed the bulk of puberty blockers and for for two main reasons:

to avoid mental stress by changing at a different time than their school peers

to avoid being short for social reasons.

Didn’t you guys kick us out over it? Why are you so desperate to bring it back?

Large percentages of Americans are functionally illiterate and innumerate, and can’t read graphs correctly, according to recent research. Few seem to have any understanding of statistical methods either.

I’ve never heard of this system, but frankly the initial idea sounds like undiagnosed dyslexia.

This sounds like dyslexia…

Odd that the nudist nation is pushing this.

As shown on this infographic, suggesting societies which generate tens of trillions in GDP which have citizens which are nearly trillionaires in their own right ensure education, housing, food, and medical care for all citizens is directly correlated to support for repressive authoritarian regimes.
