My favourite painting! Hung in the National Gallery, it is a watercolour on paper, but has the intensity of oils. Due to its fragility, it is only available to view for just 1 hour on Thursdays & Sundays. I made the pilgrimage to see it, and the detail and depth of colour takes your breath away.
