Went on a walk today and realised @buzztrip.co needs to be better.

Currently it’s just a Google My Maps clone.

We need to do better and starting from today this will happen with a focus on core features to come next.

Really loving @coderabbitai.bsky.social for open source projects. Giving me better summaries than I can write myself.

Only on the free plan currently.

I really love this feature in Apple Photos where you can view all your geo tagged photos.

However you have to zoom in a long way before seeing where the photo truely is, couldn’t this be better?

Learning the fundamentals I think is the most important thing you can learn in tech.

While you may never use some of it, it explains how a lot of tech is built and allows you to build and learn new things quicker.

So quick to create maps in @buzztrip.co, love how simple it is.

The map loading could be a lot quicker though will need to work on that

So many questions on icons for BuzzTrip.

Should users be able to use their own?

How does searching for icons work?

Do we store our icon list in plain code or in the db?

Loving the new @cloudflare.social workers feature for populating process.env

Day 2 of sharing:

1. Rewrite the whole API for a single file per route
2. added the ability to access variables from process.env through the nodejs_compat flag in cf workers
3. Added better type support
