I was thinking about this too. I think symbols need a label.

If I know which upgrade I want, I have to memorize all of the symbols or scroll through them 1-by-1 while reading the labels on the right.

Better to let my eyes wander over the page and then navigate quickly to the upgrade I want.

Most of the time, people aren't sharing their own work on reddit. If you make it clear you are the author of the article, people are more likely to engage and ask follow up questions. Comments by you are labeled OP for "original poster."

to that end, I don't think most folks in the /r/religion subreddit are going to be excited to talk about religious decline. something like /r/dataisbeatiful might be better. Also, feel free to post it to many subreddits. Each community will have a different take.
