Probably a slight nut allergy. I'm lucky, I'm not afflicted by any physical allergies, and I actually like most nuts. But for some reason I just can't stand the taste of hazelnuts. Weird, I know, but t'was always thus, all my life. Hence an aversion to nutella.

On another tack, the Z had her various 'oscopy' procedures this morning. They identified a 'growth' in her lower intestine which is hindering her digestion. More scans to follow, but it's quite scary. Not sure how I (or she) feel just now. I can't talk to anyone who knows her (she's very private)

I think it's a childhood hangover. I adore fish, as you probably gathered. But I was forced to eat badly prepared overcooked tuna and salmon as a kid in the 60s, and I now gag at the thought of either. Weird, I know. Any other fish, no problem. All in the head. I happily eat smoked salmon, though.

UK Greens membership has trebled since Zack Polanski became leader. It's now reaching the Labour and Tory membership numbers combined. Seriously, this is on a roll here. People are sick of the 'old guard'. I joined last month. Time to give the youngsters a go, I say.
