Dystopian and evil. How can we accept this ? @teamlabouruk.bsky.social The UK Govt is out of step with public opinion. Israel are exterminating innocent people in Gaza. Starmer is appeasing this.
Israeli forces and drones opened fire toward hundreds of people waiting for aid trucks in central Gaza early on Tuesday, killing at least 25 people

We've been conditioned to think forests should be neat and tidy, but that's parkland: a domesticated version.

REAL forest ecosystems are wild, tangled, and unruly.

Deserts are spreading across Britain, yet scarcely anyone in public life even seems to have noticed. This week's column seeks to open our eyes to something that has been too big to see. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
There’s an invader turning huge swathes of Britain into deserts – and these dead zones are spreading | George Monbiot
Vast areas of land are now dominated by one species – purple moor-grass – and good luck with seeing a bird or insect there. How do we revive these habitats, asks Guardian columnist George Monbiot

No one who cares about wildlife and ecosystems is now likely to vote Labour in 2029.
Or about Gaza.
Or poverty.
Or inequality.
Or international aid.
Or corporate power.
Or democratic reform.
Or racism.
Or trans rights.
So that's goodbye to just about its entire vote.
What are they playing at?

*Ignore the massive wave of public fury it ignited.
*Smear and attack anyone warning that it might not be a great idea.
In this week's column I ask what the hell Keir Starmer is playing at.

Fucking hell, Israel has opened across-the-territory airstrikes on their Gaza concentration camp. They're just exterminating at this point. Israel rejected the peace offerings over and over, they broke the cease-fires over and over, and now they're bombing schools, refugee camps, children, humans.
