Can the AI platform shift give artists an independent path in live similar to how the internet did for recorded music? Who knows, but it’s worth exploring…

I've just spent the last ~30 mins going over my historic blood results and genetic data with o3 and it's given me FAR better personalised information and practical advice than 15+ years of consultant visits.

Kid Rock’s outspoken hatred of Ticketmaster must be the most worrying thing for Live Nation as they look to bury the DOJ case in this new administration.

Trump loves Kid Rock and Kid Rock hates Ticketmaster.
Welp, Kid Rock on Bill Maher said:
•he won’t shed a tear if Ticketmaster is broken up
•we can’t stop there
•we need a total ban on speculative tix
•we need tougher enforcement on bots
•look at Europe, they cap resale

Basically, these are bipartisan consensus positions in the artist community.

Posted by a former blockchain ticketing founder (@nickmartitsch) over on the other app. Reposting here as it's the best summary of why you see so little innovation actually gain traction in the ticketing space.

Access to ticket inventory is the only thing that matters.

So should Spotify have been allowed to become the leading podcast provider by building that within their already-widespread music platform?

What’s the difference?

Well, here I am. I’m rooting for bluesky, but not holding out too much hope.
