Very kind (& dubious!) but TBF there are 2 Council officers particularly I'm aware of who are trudging through slow processes to try some of these changes - met them again on Fri & now looking positive of getting bollards back between cycle lane & 🅿️ too since below update. bsky.app/profile/jack...
As a few folk have asked about the access / parking situation on Elm Row, I understand bollards should be installed on the crossing build-out behind the bus stops to protect pedestrian space.

Interesting that as a cllr I have to sign up for VoI to see the locations currently so won't make comment until I see it...

My understanding is it depends what is there already ie if it's restricting space (by definition of the Roads Scotland Act) - I imagine TROs would typically want to be avoided as they're expensive & long processes.

Yeah I'm a bit concerned about the enforcement situation there but am aware that works need to be finished & a new TRO needs to be made for pay & display machines. Latest update I've got below: bsky.app/profile/jack...
Been told bollards are coming to pedestrian crossing point behind bus stops, & have asked about returning bollards to edge of cycleway. Will keep discussions going!

Not privvy to exact locations I'm afraid but did ask today for speeding up of actual physical stations - generally they've been put on corners with wider pavement build-outs like McDonald Road / Hopetoun & Broughton Road / East Claremont so likely similar siting criteria. bsky.app/profile/edin...

Understand the central pavement will get a bollard & asked about rest of cycle lane as I think there's still 2 or 3 at southern end from first phase. Contractors are coming back to Elm Row do Montgomery Street cycle gap & remove western lane in any case.
