Whatever it takes to bring followers over to my new @GottaLaff@mstdn.social account, I've failed.

So, please spread the word to my usual friends to follow me there if somehow I messed up that part of the move.

I'm having a tough time getting it right. Sorry.📢

Bishop Budde’s words may not move Trump, but they should move us.

We can remember and emulate her bravery and speak truth to power. We can live our values with grace and dignity.

That was something special.

Tonight for dinner I made corn on the cob, cauliflower, white rice and chicken thighs seasoned only with salt.

Paris was smart to initially brand @annehidalgo.bsky.social’s strategic steps around urban biking & walking, greening, place-making and kid-friendly streets as solutions to URBAN POLLUTION, something people understood. It worked, dramatically improving air quality. But they did MUCH more than that.

Air pollution has dropped significantly in #Paris in the last 15 years. Mayor @annehidalgo.bsky.social’s leadership has traded car space for green space, safe bike space, kid space.. and traded pollution for people.

Good trade.

Double the emissions reductions from before the inflation reduction. Double the amount of renewables.

Double

We need more. We will never be done and we’ll always need more.

But double. Hot damn.
