I agree. That’s why I put it in quotes. My kids and I prefer to shop small and local or thrift. My in-laws don’t get it. They want convenience. At least we’ve created some dissonance.

I talk to a lot of young people and I think we lost in 2024 because this kind of pandering has led many of them to nihilism. They wanted the moral fortitude for justice TNC expresses. They were showing up in protests in mass numbers and the Left chastised them. No surprise they chose not to vote.
